How To Boost Your Wardrobe In the Little Town of Leamington Spa

Armed with UNDERLINED's biblical belief in wardrobe coherency, here's where you can get shopping to elevate your Leam wardrobe:

📍 DOMINO STYLE

87 Regent St, CV32 4NT

Hidden behind this unsuspecting shop front is an an exciting treasure trove of high quality, eye-catching pieces. Domino Style is a carrier of quiet luxury brands like Essentiel Antwerp, Samsoe, Levetté room, Vilagallo, Barbour International, Selected Femme, Sofie Schnoor, and more. Whilst a lot of their price tags are hard to justify for the average student's budget, head to the sale rack at the back of the shop to find something to reward yourself with after a long day of studying (or just for being brave enough to venture out onto the Parade, it's a pretty hectic place)..

📍 DANISH WARDROBE COMPANY

117 Regent Street, CV32 4NU

Though seemingly catered to an older audience, there are definitely nice finds in this shop suitable for a younger demographic. The Danish Wardrobe Company is a stockist of "relatively undiscovered and interesting labels" from Copenhagen and Scandinavia at a relatively lower price point than DOMINO STYLE, without compromising on quality or originality. They also have a website with a big online Sale collection, which is a more student-budget-friendly option.

📍 H&M

60-62 The Parade, CV32 4DB

Hear me out on this one - if you go searching through H&M's many, many racks, you can find basics to boost your Leam wardrobe which are great value for their price. Turtlenecks and thin base layers in a few colours are a great base for wardrobe coherency in the winter, and can be complimented by wearing contrasting higher-end, outer-wear pieces and trousers from smaller boutiques. You just have to go searching!

📍 SCOPE

90 Warwick Street, CV32 4QG

It's no secret that Leam is home to many a charity shop, but Scope is the hidden gem among the many. Tucked away from the busier charity shopping streets, Scope tends to have higher quality, more wearable items. It tends to be a little more expensive but hosts much more enticing of a selection. I've picked up more items in Scope this year than any other charity shop, and it's always less busy!

📍 DEPOP + VINTED
OK so this one is a bit of a cheat, technically it's not a shop IN Leam, but Depop and Vinted are universal via their respective apps. There's definitely a way to hack these resale apps, and one way is to search for more niche, quality brands. I recently got a brand new GANNI coat in perfect condition for 80% off and though GANNI isn't exactly a niche brand, it's not as widely known as other brands which inundate resale apps. My point is: If you pay attention to what isn't currently ultra-trendy, you are quite likely to find major deals across and within brands.
