It is with great excitement that we present to you LINE's 2025 Fashion Show theme, Echoes of the Universe. We are joined with LINE's very own Fashion Show heads, providing us with all the exclusive information as we approach Warwick's event of the year!

Q: What is the theme of the LINE 2025 Fashion Show?
A: The theme of the 2025 show is Echoes of the Universe. Through the exploration of nine realms, each with their distinct theme, colour palettes, and materials, we aim to take the audience on a journey through planet Earth and beyond! We will follow an explorer through each realm, who will showcase the importance of learning and the power of experiences in all the different environments this planet has to offer.
Q: What was the creative process behind choosing this theme? Why Echoes of the Universe?
A: The core focus of theme selection was the ability to tell a story. Exploring the vast regions of the world and beyond allowed a wide choice of materials, colours, lighting, stage design etc... which was incredibly exciting for the LINE team as well as all of the models and designers that are involved. From glaciers and volcanoes to the depths of the ocean, this theme will be a celebration of textiles, patterning, silhouette, and colour to create an impactful, engaging show. The idea was developed during a brainstorm meeting with the entire Fashion Show team. One of the Fashion Show executives suggested the idea of an explorer to link the realms. The theme took shape from there and we started working on the realms that we wanted to include.

Q: What can we expect? Any exclusive information?
A: We aim to create an immersive experience. During the show, we will be using lighting, materials, and stage designs to transport the audience into each realm. A large focus for us when choosing which parts of each environment we would pull inspiration from was to ensure a cohesive story throughout all nine of them. Thus, when devising inspiration for designers we used landscapes, animals, nature, and elemental changes to dictate the overarching theme for each of the four looks in each realm. You can expect many exciting and varied looks and a lot of colour! There will be a change from the slightly darker tones from last year's show.
Q: What do you hope that the audience will take away from the show?
A: The premise of the explorer storyline is to portray the equal importance and learning opportunities in every part of our lives. From the people we are surrounded by in our local environments to the wider world, we want to show that there is nothing you cannot learn and grow from. The central message of the theme is that every different realm/ environment has something to offer and is useful. Each realm contributes to our world and are all beautiful, even if they’re very different.

Q: How does this theme fit in within the context of fashion and art?
A: The theme and overall looks are heavily inspired by nature, as seen in many collections from the past and present. Since our theme is so broad in terms of design aesthetics, we have pulled influence from a multitude of previous fashion collections. Iris Van Herpen for Oceanic and Cosmic, Robert Wun for Caves, Alexander McQueen for Volcanic, the list really does go on. With a theme like this, which draws inspiration from so many textiles, places, and people, it was important for us to look for references from a wide array of famous ateliers and designers.
Q: Which realm are you most looking forward to seeing?
Whilst there is great anticipation for all of the realms, Cosmic has harboured the most excitement as it is the finale of the show with the most extravagant design prompts. The dramatic makeup and silhouettes, dynamic colours, and crystals are in line to produce a beautiful collection of looks to end the show.
